The Alphabet of Becoming

A New Language of Self
The beliefs that shaped our lives β our core beliefs β were not chosen.
They were formed before we understood the power of choice.
Rarely do we pause to ask:
β’ Who gave voice to the words that first defined me?
β’ Who decided what I could be?
β’ What I deserved?
β’ What I would become?
Now that we are free to choose, we can meet ourselves differently.
Perhaps this β¦
A β Accept that growth is the work of a lifetime
B β Become what I believe, not what I inherited
C β Challenge the narratives Iβve mistaken for fact
D β Discern, for myself, what holds true
E β Embrace that I am enough β exactly as I am
F β Forgive myself without condition
G β Grow through what I move through
H β Hold space for healing, not resentment
I β Ignore the labels that were never mine to carry
J β Judge myself with clarity, not cruelty
K β Know I am more than what Iβve survived
L β Let go of what no longer serves me
M β Master my inner world to shape my outer one
N β Narrate my life with intention and honesty
O β Open myself to the compassion I would offer others
P β Practice integrity, especially when no one is watching
Q β Question the voice that diminishes me
R β Remember I am not defined by what came before
S β Stop rehearsing the belief that I am lacking
T β Trust the unfolding, even when I cannot see the path
U β Understand that wholeness does not require perfection
V β Value the person I am in the process of becoming
W β Welcome love, beginning with myself
X β Examine myself honestly β beyond fragments of thought, feeling, or memory
Y β Yield from life what I am willing to cultivate within it
Z β Zero in and practise this redefined alphabet daily
This alphabet does not change the past.
It changes how I meet the present.
One letter at a time.
